Although I am classically trained, I teach piano lessons in a wide range of genres. My lessons are completely tailored to the student, so that they optimally match your level and goals. Whether you are a beginning amateur or advanced, we will discuss a plan together and work on a learning path that suits you best.

My music studio is located in the atmospheric Plantagebuurt in Amsterdam East, a quiet, professionally isolated space that is ideal for concentration and creativity. Here I teach piano lessons on a fully overhauled Bechstein C-grand piano, which with its rich sound and light touch contributes to a refined technique and a beautiful tone formation.

In addition, I offer singing lessons, ear training and extensive music theory. In music theory, we cover the basics of music theory, rhythm, harmony and chord structures, regardless of your entry level. In ear training, we work on developing your musical ear and singing notes, which helps you sing sheet music. These subjects can be offered separately or integrated into your regular lessons, so that your musical skills can continue to grow.
